The short version

What we keep if you sign in with Google

DataWhy
Your Google account ID, name and email addressTo recognise you when you come back, and to contact you about the service
When you first signed in, when you last visited, and how many times you have signed inTo understand how Lone Pair is used
A sign-in cookie (lp_session), valid for 30 daysTo keep you signed in. It is strictly necessary for signing in and is not used for advertising

We ask Google only for your basic profile (name and email). We do not get your password, contacts, files or anything else in your Google account.

What we do not do

Features that contact other services

A few optional tools send a structure to a public database, only when you click them: Look up name and CAS number and inserting a compound by name (PubChem, US National Library of Medicine), and Find in databases (PubChem, RCSB PDB, ChEMBL, Google). They send only the structure's SMILES or InChIKey, never your account details.

Visitor statistics

We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies or track you across sites.

Where your data is kept

Lone Pair runs on Cloudflare. Account data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. We keep it until you delete your account.
